Faisal Gill, Like Jim Moran, Took Thousands From The Now-Imprisoned Terrorist Abdurahman Alamoudi

Like Moran, Faisal Gill accepted payment from and performed services for American Muslim Council founder Abdurahman Alamoudi after Alamoudi had gone on TV and declared "We are all supporters of Hamas. Allahu Akhbar! . . . I am also a supporter of Hezbollah."

WHO IS ABDURAHMAN ALAMOUDI?

Abdurahman Alamoudi is an inmate in a federal penitentiary serving a 23-year sentence for terrorism. He was the founder and, in 2001, the leader of the American Muslim Council. Alamoudi went on television in 2000 and declared himself to be a supporter of Hamas and a supporter of Hezbollah. Alamoudi was Faisal Gill's employer in 2001, paying Gill $10,000 for consulting services.

The U.S. Department of Justice stated the following in its 10/15/04 press release:

Court documents filed in conjunction with his plea agreement describe how, from November 1995 to September 2003, Alamoudi devised a scheme to obtain money from Libya and other sources overseas for transmission into the United States without attracting the attention of federal immigration, customs and law enforcement officials. Alamoudi admitted to participating in a comprehensive scheme to conceal prohibited financial transactions related to Libya, his travel to Libya, and financial transactions designed to evade currency reporting requirements, among other things.

From the Discover The Networks blog:

Alamoudi was arrested in September 2003 for illegally failing to notify the U.S. State Department of his numerous trips to Libya, and for illegally accepting $10,700 from the Libyan mission to the United Nations. That same month, British customs officials found $340,000 in cash in al-Amoudi's luggage - money that an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) affidavit asserts originated in Libya and was intended for distribution in Syria, where terror groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad maintain a strong presence.

Alamoudi was thus paying his employees and political allies, including candidate Faisal Gill and Rep. Jim Moran, with Libyan government money.

WHO IS JIM MORAN?

Another politician who was on the take from Alamoudi, except that Moran calls himself a Democrat while Gill calls himself a Republican. Real Democrats and Republicans reject the extremism that Moran and Gill promoted through their alliances with Alamoudi.

After Alamoudi declared his membership in Hamas in the summer of 2000 both George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton gave back their donations from Alamoudi. As noted, Faisal Gill did $10,000 worth of consulting for Alamoudi. Moran did not return his contribution from Alamoudi. Rather, Moran solicited a second contribution from Alamoudi in January 2001.

Worse, Jim Moran spoke at the American Muslim Council (Gill's employer) national convention in June 2001. Moran stated:

Mr. Sharon is coming to Washington this week. He’s (boos in audience) no no no no, no, no, no. (something said in background) I’ll get in trouble, I don’t want you to do that. He’s probably seeking a warrant from President Bush to kill at will with weapons we have paid for. I hope he is not given that license...

    ...

Now the reason I say these things is not to deliberately get in trouble, even though I know in every room where I speak there is always somebody who before the sun goes down will report to your cousins exactly everything that I’ve said (laughter/applause).

    ...

Now, the reason I just said that is because Abdurahman wanted me to express some views on my own...

    ...

Is that enough? Can I… Is that okay Abdurahman? Mr. Alamoudi wants me to...

Q: HOW DO SUPPORTERS OF FAISAL GILL DEFEND HIS CONDUCT?

A: They accuse Gill's accusers of prejudice of course. Why only a racist would object to a candidate for the Republican nomination for state senate having worked for a convicted terrorist, after the terrorist's radicalism was known.

Here is an example of how Gill's enablers defend their man by accusing Gill's accusers of prejudice. From a 1/11/07 posting on the CitizenTom blog, in rebuttal to blogger BVBLs criticism of Gill's behavior:

BVBL persistence in spite of clear evidence to the contrary suggests bias in this matter.
The reality is that the American Muslim Council was a prejudiced organization when Gill worked there. Here is Gill's employer Alamoudi's public attitude towards those who pray for America's destruction. On December 29, 1996, Alamoudi told meeting of the Illinois-based Islamic Association of Palestine:
I think if we were outside this country, we can say, 'Oh, Allah, destroy America,' but once we are here, our mission in this country is to change it. There is no way for Muslims to be violent in America, no way. We have other means to do it. You can be violent anywhere else but in America."
So is it okay for people to pray to destroy America? Gill worked for a Libyan-funded organization, the American Muslim Council, whose founder and executive director said that it was okay.

Faisal Gill and Jim Moran are the ones who should be responding to accusations of prejudice. Faisal Gill and Jim Moran are the ones who supported the haters. Moran still does. Look at the photo above of Moran speaking at a CAIR meeting. I met a friend, who must remain anonymous, who told me that the now imprisoned CAIR spokesperson Ismail Royer had personally threatened to kill my friend. Prior to going to jail for training Americans to fight jihad Royer had been stopped by an Alexandria policeman while Royer was carrying illegal semi-automatic weapons in his car.

Royer got away with his extremism for awhile. Gill was an extremist in the early part of this decade. Don't let him get away with it. Forgive Gill if you like, but do not place him in a position of authority.

From the 5/14/04 edition of WorldNetDaily:

Muslim spokesman pleads guilty to terrorism
Ex-staffer for CAIR, other groups, mobilized holy warriors in U.S.

A former spokesman for several Muslim lobby groups in the U.S. pleaded guilty to serving as the leader of a Virginia-based terrorist network that conspired to train on American soil for "violent jihad."

Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer – who most recently served as communications director for a fund-raising effort sponsored by the American Muslim Council – allegedly trained in Virginia for holy war against the United States and sent several members to Pakistan to join Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Kashmiri terrorist group with reported ties to al-Qaida.

A federal judge sentenced him Friday to 20 years in prison. In a plea bargain, Royer claimed he never intended to hurt anyone but admitted he organized the holy warriors after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S., according to the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C.

He was among nine men who either pleaded guilty or were convicted in connection to the charges. Two others were acquitted on all counts.

Royer, 31, of Falls Church, Va., also was on the national staff of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a group that considers itself a leading civil rights voice for American Muslims.

Note that Royer, like Gill, worked for the American Muslim Council founded and run by the imprisoned terrorist Abdurahman Alamoudi. AMC was a hate group funded by the Libyan government.

Re: Faisal Gill, Like Jim Moran, Took Thousands Fr
by Mary Hill on Wednesday January 24, @12:34PM

First I want to qualilfy myself to speak so as to dispel any notion that I defend and support Faisil Gill based on anything other than my personal knowledge of him and his family and also my belief that America cannot afford to discriminate against Muslims or anyone else on baseless accusations which have no bearing on but rather serve to create distorted perceptions of a person's character or patriotism.

I am a white anglo-saxon Christian female in my 50s, a product of Catholic schools, and a summa cum laude graduate of Mary Washington College with a degree in American Studies with a minor in Political Science emphasis on International Relations. I've served as chairman of the National Capital Region Emergency Planning Council. I've spent many years involved in Republican politics with eight in local elected office and many more in campaigning for Republican candidates. I know firsthand about the pros and cons of our political system and certainly know quite intimately about the effects of injustice. Am I concerned about jihadist infiltration into American politics and official office? You bet I am!

Now that you know where I stand, I was delighted to hear that Faisil is running for delegate. I wholeheartedly support Faisil Gill. I've known Faisil for years although I have not seen him for a very long time. I'll tell you what I know about Faisil. His father came to this country for freedom and a better life for his family. He drove a taxi cab (the second most dangerous job in America next to convenience store clerk) to support his family. Faisil grew up in America and graduated from law school. Faisil was commissioned an officer in the U. S. Navy. He used to be my neighbor. His wife, Margaret, is a white Anglo-Saxon female like me. His children are delightful. Fasil, from what I have observed is a wonderful family man. He has also been involved in Republican politics for many years working for so many Republican candidates. He has always been well respected in those circles. He has been a leader in Prince William County's fight against efforts by Democrats and Republicans alike in state office to impose higher taxes on Northern Virginians through his leadership in the Taxpayer Alliance. His fight against higher taxes is, I believe, the basis of his relationship with Grover Norquist. He rose to high positions within the Bush Administration and Department of Homeland Security. To my knowledge, he had contact with the Administration before that when he represented the American Muslim Council at the White House to advocate for Muslim inclusion in the President's faith based initiative. At least 1 in every five people on the planet is a Muslim. With thousands of Muslims who are American citizens and residents just in Prince William County, I believe the supermajority of them are decent law abiding citizens. While I do not subscribe to the tenets of their religion, I believe they hold to a moral code worthy of emulation. They have much to offer by way of community service which could be performed under such faith-based initiatives. Bravo to Faisil for making the Administration face that fact.

In my own experience I have picked up newspaper after newspaper to read stories about myself and then wonder to myself who the heck they were talking about. It sure wasn't me. And I've paid quite the price for that campaign of "death by cuts" Accusations against Faisil Gill as a jihadist infiltrator are the nastiest I have seen and are totally without merit. Two investigations have cleared Faisisl. But you know people will always look at him with a suspecting eye because of them despite the outcome of those investigations. It is so unfair, unjust, and un-American.

My biggest concern is that when you deny liberty and justice to one, you destroy America from within by negating the premise of "liberty and justice for all". It happens everyday. And next time, it could be you! Don't let America itself fall victim to "death by cuts". That's exactly what our enemies want!
